I have found a series of links on the Old Glory site to websites that have subsequently been of interest to me within this project. All links relate to steam vehicles in some way...
The third, fourth, fifth and sixth relate to steam boats in tug form, as a paddle steamer which is again ideal for my research, and a steam powered barge boat.
The next few sites are county related steam preservation websites, the first is the Bedford Steam Preservation Society which formed in 1956.
The second is the East Anglian Traction Engine Society which was the second association of its kind to be formed in this country.
And the third is Essex Steam dealing with all steam related vehicles in Essex.
The fourth site to be included here is the Lancashire Traction Engine Club.
The next wave of websites are all steam fair themed and start with the non other than the famous Great Dorset Steam Fair!
Followed by the Chipping Steam Fair;
Heritage Field who run the Cuckoo Fayre at Laughton and the Laughton Country shows cater for many steam and funfair enthusiasts alike.
Hollowell Steam also offer a fair.
The Steam Up & Road Run
And finally Woodcote Rally featuring a wealth of steam and vintage vehicles.
These last few sites that i have come across curtsy of Old Glory feature a wealth of information and images relating to the topic of steam and vehicles from around the world:
A whole library of images, art, and articles
The Road Roller Association
The Steam Heritage Preservation
An overall image collection
Steam Car Club of Great Britain
The historical account of a Super Sentinel steam lorry maintains by HMS Sultan
